Gathering of West Coast Street Medics

When: May 28–30, 2004

Welcoming and registration from 5 to 9pm on Friday 28th

Conference from 10am to 6pm on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th (new: optional CPR Class Monday 31st)

Join us for a weekend conference for medics living and working on the West Coast to create a sense of connection and define who we are. We hope to share skills, experiences & resources, and address issues unique to medicing in the West.

Who should attend: West Coast medics with street experience. Medics from other areas are also welcome but the focus will be on issues specific to the West Coast.

Cost: Sliding scale $25-$100. Includes conference, childcare, and lunch for Saturday and Sunday. Limited housing available on a first-come first-served basis. Please find your own housing if you can. Very limited work trade scholarships available.

Possible topics: Kids at demos, new police toys/tactics, treatment options, skill sharing, RNC, international updates, dialogue for addressing sexual assault in our communities, and more. Possible CPR recertification on Monday the 31st.
